Our School Day

School times:

School day starts at 9.00am and ends at 3.30pm. 

We operate a soft opening time (see below times gates are open from).   

We expect all children to be in their classroom at 9.00am for registration.  Children entering school after 9.00am (12.45pm for afternoon Nursery), will be 'marked as Late' and will have to enter via the main office to be marked in the register by office staff.

Nursery:

Morning sessions: 8.45am - 11.45am (Nursery gates open from 8.45am until 9.00am; and re-open at 11.45am)

Afternoon sessions: 12.45pm - 3.45pm (Nursery gates open at 12.45pm; and re-open at 3.30pm until 3.45pm)

Reception to Year 6:

School gates open from 8.50am until 9.00am. 

School pick up is at 3.30pm from your child's class area. 

Late collections after 3.40pm, will be from the main school office.

Parents/carers are to inform the school as soon as possible if running late and are expected to inform the school before 3.00pm if they have made other arrangements for picking up their child (i.e. another adult will be picking up in their absence).

Medical Appointments:

Children that have appointments (i.e. dental, optician, hospital, GP etc) medical evidence will need to be provided prior to the appointment, please email into the school office with the letter, email or text. 

If you do not have evidence prior to the appointment, please let the school office know and you should be able to ask for an appointment card when your child attends, please email this to the school after.

Uncollected Children:

If a child is still uncollected by 3.45pm and office staff have been unable to contact a parent/carer, the school will follow the Redbridge procedure for looking after uncollected children (which may involve contacting the police or social services)

Your child will be placed with our after school childcare Kids In Charge.  This will incur a charge.

Break and Lunchtimes

Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils have a 15 minute break in the morning approx. 10.40am.

Key Stage 1 pupils also have an afternoon break of 15 minutes at approx. 2.15pm.

Nursery children will eat their packed lunch within their Nursery setting. 

Reception to Year 6 will eat their lunch in the main school hall in rotation.  Lunchtimes starts approx. 11.45am-1.30pm dependant on year group.
