COVID-19 Catch up Premium

What is the Covid-19 Catch-Up Premium

In 2020, the Government granted £1 billion of funding to help support children and young people catch up on missed learning caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).   This is especially important for those pupils that are identified as vulnerable and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds who have been most affected.

Funding to mainstream schools is £80 per pupil and based on the 2020-2021 census for Reception to Year 6.

How Mossford Green uses the allocated Covid-19 Catch-Up Premium

Mossford Green use Catch-Up Funding for specific activities to support our pupils’ education recovery in line with the curriculum expectations.
