School Uniform

At Mossford Green we are proud to have a school uniform and are committed to a policy of every child wearing it. 

Our uniform plays an important part in developing a school ethos and identity.

Children from Nursery to Year 6 are required to come to school wearing the school uniform.  All children, apart from those in Nursery, need to have a full PE kit in school every week.

Our school policy is affordable for all; although desirable, it is not essential for your child to have the school logo on their school uniform.

Jewellery

Jewellery must not be worn to school.  Watches may be worn but must be removed for PE.  Flush fitting earrings may be worn if children have pierced ears but hoop or drop earrings can be dangerous and must not be worn. Earrings should be removed for PE or, if they cannot be removed because the ears have been newly pierced, tape or plasters should be applied, parents should supply this with their child's PE kit.

Book and PE Bags are available to order from the school office:

Please email the school office with your child’s name and class number and request which bag you would like to order. Payment will be put on your child’s account, once paid we will hand the bag to your child.

• Book bags – £4.00 (Nursery & Reception) / £5 – with straps (all other year groups)
• PE bags – £4.50

There may be second-hand PE bags available to purchase at a lower price, if you would like to purchase this, please email the school office for availability.

All articles of clothing should be named to prevent confusion and loss.
