School Meals

Your child is allowed a choice of having a school meal or bringing a home provided packed lunch each day.

School meals are provided by Feeding Hungry Minds and are cooked in our school kitchen using fresh ingredients.

Lunch menu

The school menu from ISS runs over a three-week cycle and is reviewed termly.

Cost of a school meals is currently £2.00 and parents can pre-order meals online for up to six weeks in advance on School Meal Payment and Pre-Order System.  Reception to Year 2 children are currently entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meal funded by the Government.  Year 3 to Year 6 children will need to pay directly to Feeding Hungry Minds.

Meals can be ordered up to midnight the day before and if parents pre-order on behalf of their child, their child will be unable to change the choices made, for this reason we ask parents to please discuss and confirm meal choices with their child on ordering.

If you have already pre-ordered a meal and your child decides they no longer want to have the meal, you can cancel the meal prior to the day.  However, if you decide on the day and have provided a packed lunch, please advise the class teacher on the morning of the ordered meal.  You will not be charged for the meal if your child does not consume the meal.

If you or your child haven’t pre-ordered, your child will be able to do so on the day in class.  We do ask parents to pre-order as this can take away valuable learning time in school.
