Before and After School
Children can arrive at school from 8:50am, 10 minutes before the start of the school day. Teachers are on duty to supervise children in both playgrounds from 8:50am until the bell is rung at 9:00am. Please do not allow your child to come to school before 8:50am as there is no staff supervision before this time and we cannot be responsible for your child’s safety.
We ask that all Reception and Key Stage 1 children are brought to school by an adult who should remain with them until the bell is rung. Parents are requested to say goodbye to their children in the playground and are asked not to accompany their children to the classrooms.
The Nursery will be open for 8.45am. It may be helpful to drop Nursery children off first in the morning and pick up other children first in the afternoon.
The school gates are open five minutes before the end of the school day. Please ensure that your child is picked up promptly. If, in the case of an emergency, you will be delayed in picking up your child, please notify the school office.
Uncollected Children – Important
If a child is still uncollected by 4:00pm and we have been unable to contact a parent/carer, the school will follow the Redbridge procedure for looking after uncollected children, details of which are in the pocket at the back of the prospectus.
